We are always looking for highly-skilled technicians. If you want to join us, then you should be proficient in all aspects of property maintenance. We look for those who are skilled in plumbing, electrical, roof repair, lighting, and general repair. You must be able to recognize potential problems and have the initiative to repair them before they become major problems. This is what our customers expect and is extremely important.
Qualified candidates will be self-starters who take pride in their work and accomplishments. You must be willing to tackle any task, to do any job, no matter how menial. We are all a part of a team and even our office staff pitches in when customers have emergencies and we need extra manpower. You must be helpful to other co-workers and give our clients the high level of customer service they expect. You should be polite, well mannered, presentable, compassionate and reliable. The most important thing is that you must enjoy working in the family atmosphere that Maintenance Solutions strives to maintain. We want all of our employees to stay with us for many years, and a friendly atmosphere is very important to us.
HVAC certification is a definite asset. Along with the outlined skills above, a certified HVAC technician must be proficient in trouble-shooting and repair of all aspects of air conditioning and refrigeration. You must be proficient in controls, wiring, brazing, piping, motors, compressor changes, refrigerant recovery, and electrical. You must also have a working knowledge of heating systems including gas, electric, and heat pumps.
